Edit Video

Edit Video is for transforming a selected span of video while preserving the original source media. It supports both visible-region video edits and LTX-style action retakes inside an existing shot.

Kling O3 Edit models use the visible purple timeline region directly. Kepler renders that region, sends it to the selected edit model, and places the returned result above the source without overwriting the original.

LTX Retake models start from an explicit timeline pick. Kepler uses the selected source video span as the reference, creates a generated variant, and places only the aligned result fragment above the original. The source clip is not overwritten.

A typical workflow:

- Open Edit Video.
- Choose a model for visible-region edits or source-span retakes.
- For LTX models, activate Pick on Timeline and select the source clip span.
- Describe the change and what should remain consistent.
- Review the credit cost before generation starts.
- Generate and compare the result against the original.

Edit Video works best when the prompt is specific about the desired visual or action change. Use LTX models for redirecting action inside a shot, and Kling O3 Edit models for prompt-based visible transformations such as characters, objects, settings, style, weather, or wardrobe.
