Generate Region creates a new AI video segment inside a selected timeline span. It is designed for filling a deliberate gap or creating a fresh shot between boundary references, not for silently replacing source media.

Kepler keeps the edit safe by generating into a separate result. The selected region guides the duration and placement, while the original clips remain available underneath or nearby for comparison.

A typical workflow:

- Mark the region where a new shot should appear.
- Open Generate Region.
- Use boundary references when the result should connect to surrounding footage.
- Write a prompt that describes the action across the full region.
- Review credits before starting the job.
- Place the generated result on a generated track and adjust it in the timeline.

Strong prompts describe the whole span, not just a single frame. Include the subject, environment, action, camera behavior, lighting, and how the shot should begin or end. If the surrounding edit matters, describe the continuity you want rather than assuming the model can infer every detail from the timeline.
