FILM

Quality interpolation for complex scenes with crossing objects, camera movement, and detailed motion.

FILM creates additional in-between frames for Slow Motion when the source clip has complex motion that needs a cleaner interpolation pass.

Choose it for final slow-motion shots, crossing objects, visible subject movement, camera movement, and clips where motion gaps are large enough that simple interpolation can look mechanical. Kepler sends the raw source media for interpolation. Picking with the pipette from the timeline still selects the clicked clip's original Media Bin source; timeline speed, trims, effects, and rendered segments are not used as the interpolation input.

For quick drafts or simple clips with modest motion, AMT Interpolation remains the lighter option. Kepler stores every result as new media and places it on the timeline without replacing the original source video.
